ACN Philippines Marks 10th Anniversary with Solidarity Dinner, Renewing Commitment to the Suffering Church
MANILA, Philippines – Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) Philippines commemorated a decade of faith, charity, and solidarity during the ACN Philippines – 10th Anniversary Solidarity Dinner held on June 30, 2026, at The Manila Hotel.
The celebration gathered bishops, clergy, religious, benefactors, and partners in thanksgiving for ten years of supporting persecuted and suffering Christians across the globe, while renewing the organization’s commitment to the Church’s mission.
In his keynote address, Most Rev. Charles John Brown, Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines, affirmed the importance of ACN’s apostolate and invited the faithful to continue participating in its mission of hope and charity.
“Everything I’ve seen here in the Philippines leads me to encourage you in your generosity… ACN is truly an essential and noble endeavor, one that I and the Holy See completely support.”
The evening also highlighted ACN Philippines’ ongoing initiatives, including support for the rebuilding of the Marawi Pro-Cathedral, assistance in the formation of seminarians, collaboration with Catholic educational institutions, and the establishment of the ACN Legacy Solidarity Fund to sustain future works of mercy.
Centered on the theme, Illuminating Faith, Relighting a Sanctuary, the anniversary celebration served as a reminder that every prayer, sacrifice, and act of generosity strengthens the Church’s mission and brings the light of Christ to communities enduring persecution, hardship, and conflict.
